Dr. Faisal Awartani
CEO & founder (Alpha Full Time Staff-Team leader)

Dr. Awartani has been the CEO of Alpha International since its inception in 2001. He is highly experienced in designing and implementing monitoring and evaluation research projects for a wide variety of clients including governmental and non-governmental institutions as well as private sector companies. Alpha has successfully worked with many agencies in the public and private sector including the UN, USAID, and government ministries on various projects including surveys on human development perception, gender issues, as well as a study on human security issues conducted in Palestine and in neighboring Arab countries. In fact, Dr. Awartani has supervised over 200 survey research and monitoring and evaluation projects in the areas of education, health, social, political systems and customer satisfaction. In addition, he has developed statistical tests that can be used for testing the efficacy of social intervention projects.

Mr. Iyad Zebdawi
Executive Manager

Iyad Ahman Zebdawi, started with Alpha International in 2001 as Senior Statistician. He was then promoted several times and currently serves as Alpha’s Executive Manager. In that capacity, he is responsible for the full range of account management, from proposal writing to survey preparation and execution to reporting. He oversees data collection, data coding, data editing and data entry teams and supervises the training and orientation of field team members, as well as the data management operations in the main office.

Mr. Jamal Hasan
Data Processing Manager

Jamal Hassan, started with Alpha International in 2001 as Senior Statistician. He was then promoted several times and currently serves as Alpha’s Account Manager. In that capacity, he is responsible for the full range of account management, from proposal writing to survey preparation and execution to reporting. He oversees data collection, data coding, data editing and data entry teams and supervises the training and orientation of field team members, as well as the data management operations in the main office.
